Mary Mattingly

Mary Mattingly is an artist based in New York. Her work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Kitchen, International Center of Photography, the Seoul Art Center, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the New York Public Library, deCordova Museum, and the Palais de Tokyo. In 2015 she completed a two part sculpture “Pull” for the International Havana Biennial with the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de la Habana and the Bronx Museum. She participated in smARTpower: an initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the Bronx Museum of the Arts as artist-ambassador to the Philippines. She recently transformed a military trailer into a social space at the Museum of Modern Art’s Cullman Center and launched Swale with a group of co-creators, a floating food forest in New York. Mattingly teaches at Pratt Institute and Yale University.
