The Sausage Factory

The Physical – THE OBJECT:
I want to build a mobile Sausage Factory.
The Sausage Factory is a sculpture that produces food.
It is a machine, poetic and functional, mechanical and operated by hand.
The Sausage Factory might also be an instrument.
The Sausage Factory is a sculpture, by virtue of its visual quality, raising questions…

The Performative – THE ACTIONS:
The visitor is invited to participate in the sausage production when The Sausage Factory operates.
The Sausage Factory can serve as a starting point for discussions and conversations about meat, eating and meat production.
We can gather around a campfire to grill our sausages, eat together and share stories and thoughts.
The Sausage Factory can be part of a larger Performative meal.
