Sophia Warsh

Sophia Warsh is an artist, gardener and field botanist. Her interests include prairies, and plant taxonomy and systematics. She first worked as a commercial green roofer in New York City. After that she worked at the Queens Botanical Garden, the Central Park Conservancy and the Missouri Botanical Garden. She has a certificate in Landscape Design from the New York Botanical Garden and also studied wildflower identification at the Native Plant School at the Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, MO. Sophia currently lives in Boulder, where she is enrolled in the Museum and Field Studies M.S. program at Colorado University.
